Synopsis

An action comedy for the whole family, “Cop and a Half” stars Burt Reynolds as burned-out detective Nick McKenna, a cop who works alone until eight-year old Devon Butler (Norman D. Golden II) proves to be the only witness to a crime and demands a deal: a badge, cuffs and his dream come true – a day as a cop. Nick reluctantly agrees, and the ensuing adventure gets Devon more than he bargained for when he tries to prove he can solve the crime all by himself. Henry Winkler (“Night Shift”) directs this Imagine Films Entertainment (“Kindergarten Cop”, “Parenthood”, “My Girl”) picture.
