Synopsis
Genghis Khan! The world trembled at his name!
John Wayne stars as the Mongolian chieftain Temujin, better known as Genghis Khan. The Mongol warlord must do battle against the rival tribe that killed his father, however, the battle pales in comparison with Temujin’s home life. He must attempt to woo the heart of the red-haired Tartar prisoner, Bortai (Susan Hayward), whom he captured in a raid…
THE LAST AND MOST EXPENSIVE MOVIE of the legendary Hollywood-Players and multi billionaire Howard Hughes is a lavishly equipped history spectacle with Oscar-winners Susan Hayward and the “Duke” John Wayne in the most unusual role of his career. The Conqueror is also known for one of the biggest tragedies in film history as it was filmed near the site of contemporaneous nuclear testing grounds. Due to this the majority of the film team including the cast died due to the consequences of nuclear radiation.
