This exciting, nostalgic tale of barnstorming pilots in the 1920s reunites Robert Redford with George Roy Hill, the Academy Award-winning director of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting. Waldo (Redford) makes a living selling rides in Nebraska, and telling tall tales about facing off against Ernst Kessler (Bo Brundin), the Black Knight of Germany, during his days as a World War I flying ace.
